Sales Manager (Hotel and Cruise) - Accommtec – Europe

About the Role

We are recruiting an ambitious Sales Manager to help build our hospitality business, Accommtec. This will be a dual role developing new business globally in the cruise market and Hotel business in Europe. It will be Reporting to the VP Sales EMEA but receive a lot of support and guidance from the Cruise Business Development Director. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates complete confidence in their skills to research, locate, win, maintain relationships with prospective Hospitality and Cruise Liner companies. The successful candidate will be able to establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in the accounts and leverage those relationships to identify, qualify and realize potential commercial opportunities.

Working to achieve your sales target the key areas of responsibility are:

  • Champion Accommtec Solutions, mainly based on Exterity products and other technologies and services as we feel fit, in order to provide complete solutions.
  • Engage with end customers, either directly or with chosen Channel Partners in the system design, delivery and support of the Accommtec solutions, to provide streaming technology to Hospitality Sector and Cruise Ships.
  • Forecast monthly/quarterly/annual sales volume for each opportunity
  • Facilitate getting the solution onto Hotel brands AVL’s

About You

The right candidate will:

  • Have experience managing within this market segment, with emphasis on IP or IP over RF delivery of accommodation AV solutions
  • Have existing relationships with top Hotel or Cruise Ship companies
  • Strong relationship with Display Manufacturers, i.e. LG, Samsung, Philips, Sony
  • Be able to demonstrate consistent and significant contribution in a previous sales role
  • Ideally, have worked for another IP/AV/Digital Signage technology vendor selling to this market
  • Have a strong technical background with an excellent understanding of IPTV solutions
  • Have a good understanding of IP networking
  • Have experience selling enterprise-class solutions
  • Display entrepreneurial spirit, have a self-sufficient and engaging personality with excellent relationship skills and follow through.

Candidates from an IT/SMATV sales background with a strong understanding of AV/convergence/ multi-media technologies may also be considered.

Qualifications

A potential Sales Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • AV Industry certifications
  • Possess good references
  • Languages – Whilst not 100% required, it would benefit the candidates to have such skills

  • Strong verbal written and presentation skills.

Location

The ideal candidate will be based in UK or across Europe

About Accommtec and Exterity

Accommtec set up in January 2018 as the system integration arm of Exterity in order to drive business within the Hospitality and Cruise ship Sector. Accommtec is a wholly owned division of Exterity Ltd. Established in 2001, Exterity now has over 100 employees and is a market leading provider of IP video technology that helps organisations to harness the power of video to inform, engage or entertain. Our end-to-end solutions enable our customers to capture TV and video content directly from any source and manage its delivery, live or on demand, to any connected device via an existing network.

We are currently well established in the Cruise Market business. We have an account manager who manages these but are looking for someone to proactively target other cruise brands globally. The account manager will provide support, advice and introductions to other brands and we have a team who have a lot of knowledge of the market to back you up. We have won a significant number of hotels in MEA and Asia but to date have had little success in Europe. We are looking for someone who can build on the successes in MEA to get us onto appropriate hotel brands AVL’s and start winning projects within Europe.
